FUNDRAISING EVENTS
Feza Foundation occasionally organise fundraising events to finance its educational activities.
While auctions and handcraft sale by our ladies branch are the primary fundraising activities, proceeds from our 2006 and 2008 auctions were spent on funding construction work carried out at Sule College campuses as well as property acquisitions in relation with current expansion projects of the school.
In our upcoming auction on Saturday 08 August 2009, more than 40 items will be on display to raise fresh funding for our projects in the Auburn area.
A dinner will be held at the Bosphorus Reception (7 Station Road Auburn NSW 2144) on 08 August 2009, where our distinguished guests will have the opportunity to bid for immaculate pieces of the Turkish art; including Islamic art, calligraphy, silver and brass frames, paintings, silver and nacre handcraft, ceramics, tiles and porcelain.
Highlight of the night is expected to be the sale of five jerseys of famous Turkish soccer clubs and players. Two Besiktas club jerseys signed by the entire Besiktas squad and three Galatasaray jerseys signed by Galatasaray players Hakan Sukur (former player), Arda Turan and Mehmet Topal will be on sale on the auction night.
