2011 AFRICAN FAMINE APPEAL

Lets help before Africa Dies Out…

As more than 12.4 million people are currently in urgent need of humanitarian assistance, the United Nations recently declared famine in the East African countries; including Somalia, Kenya and Ethiopia.

Coupled with the worst drought in 60 years, the crisis is exacerbated by soaring food prices and the ongoing armed conflict within Somalia.

Food crisis has triggered refugee outflows into neighbouring Kenya and Ethiopia where hundreds are dying of starvation and exhaustion on their food search journey everyday.

Urgent funding is needed to deal with this situation.
